FFXIV: How to Unlock Bozjan Southern Front

The Bozjan Southern Front is a new large-scale instance in Final Fantasy XIV that was introduced after Shadowbringers. It’s part of the Save The Queen storyline, and it’s a great way to level up your classes to 80. It also has a fantastic storyline, making it a must-play game. But how do you get it unlocked?

This FFXIV guide will show you how to do it in detail so that you can not only get closer to Level 80 but also help the Bozjan Resistance. Here’s everything you need to know about gaining access to Bozjan’s Southern Front.

How to Unlock Bozjan Southern Front in Final Fantasy XIV?

You must own a copy of Shadowbringers and have completed the Main Scenario Quests up to “Vows of Virtue, Deeds of Cruelty” in order to access Bozja.

To participate in the instance, at least one of your classes or characters must be Level 71.

Once you’ve gotten all of that, head over to Rhalgr’s Reach, where an Ironworks Engineer can give you a quest called “The Bozja Incident” (X:11.8, Y:11.8).

This quest is followed by “Fire in the Forge,” which leads to the discovery of Gangos, a new area.

Going to the Doman Enclave, heading to the docks, and speaking with the Airship pilot will get you to Gangos.

Now that you’ve arrived in Gangos, there’s just one more thing to do before you can enter the Bozja Southern Front. Locate Marsak (X:6.4, Y:5.7) and complete the “Where Eagles Nest” quest to gain access to the Bozjan Southern Front.

Sjeros, who is standing near the docks, can help you select the Bozjan Southern Front option.

This will transport you to a one-of-a-kind instance of a massive battleground. There are tutorial missions to walk you through the basics of Bozja, but basically, you’ll be doing FATEs and Critical Engagement across the field to raise Mettle, which will unlock more content as you level up.

The Bozjan Southern Front takes a long time to complete, but once you’re there, you can put in a few hours whenever you want.
